Terms of use
Last updated 7 September 2026
These terms apply when you play EpicYatzy at epicyatzy.com. The game is run by Norbert Laszlo, a private individual, as a non-commercial project; see section 10. By entering a guest name and joining or creating a room you accept these terms.
1. The service
EpicYatzy is a free, browser-based multiplayer dice game. There are no accounts, purchases, or advertising. We may change, pause, or discontinue the game at any time.
2. Guest names and room names
Choose a guest name and room name that is not offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, or misleading, that does not impersonate another person or organisation, and that does not contain another person's personal data. Room names of public tables are visible to every visitor. We may rename, close, or block rooms and names that break these rules.
To report a name or room, email hello@norbertlaszlo.com with the room code. We review reports promptly and explain our decision to the person who reported and, where we can reach them, to the person affected.
3. Fair play
Play as a person, not a program. Do not use bots, scripts, or modified clients, exploit bugs, disrupt other players, or interfere with the servers. Do not share a private room's password with people the host did not invite.
4. Availability
The game is provided as is and as available. Rooms expire as described in the privacy notice, and an unfinished game may be lost if a room expires or a server fails. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
5. Intellectual property
The EpicYatzy name, artwork, characters, text, and code belong to the provider or its licensors. Open-source components are used under their own licences, listed on the open-source licences page. Yatzy is a traditional Scandinavian dice game; its rules belong to everyone.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by interruptions, lost game state, or the conduct of other players.
7. Governing law
Swedish law applies and disputes are settled by the Swedish courts. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law where you live.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes are announced on the game's home screen before they apply.
9. Contact
Questions, reports, and requests: hello@norbertlaszlo.com. This address is our single point of contact for players, authorities, and anyone reporting content, and for the data protection matters described in the privacy notice.
10. Who runs EpicYatzy
EpicYatzy at epicyatzy.com is run by Norbert Laszlo, a private individual based in Sweden, as a non-commercial project. There is no company behind the game, and "we" in these terms and in the privacy notice means that person.
